Scope is a photo based journalling app, social platform designed to help you plan, organise, document and share your trip. For those who are looking to discover things to do, see or eat and how to get around new places when travelling.

Problem

Travellers struggle to have one place for all their travel needs to organise and plan their trips. Travel apps don’t currently offer a whole integrated solution for planning, organising, booking and documenting their trip.

Objective

To improve the travellers experience before, during and after their travels. By being able to easily search and create
a visual trip plan at central place that can easily be shared.

Insights

Research suggests that many started planing weeks and months in advanced. Usually using in ineffective ways to document/plan their itinerary. More than half shared their itinerary via social and to friends and family.

Usability testing and wireframing

Through many rounds of app usability testing, screens and tab bar modifications we made. Icons had proved to be confusing for the user and changes were implemented as a result.
